Speaking Engagements

Jump$tart is the authority on personal finance education in America, and they were one of the first major organizations to recognize the value of the RWC teaching model. Their support culminated in 2019 when it was my pleasure to give the Keynote address at their National Educators Conference in Washington, D.C.

While in my second year at Vanderbilt, a colleague in my cohort offered to help me with my SXSW Next address. Turns out, he's also a TED producer, and asked, "Have you ever considered sharing your story as a TED talk? Interested?" Unlike SXSW, in this presentation, I get much more personal about the journey I took from the lowest of lows and back again. 

Sadly, I do not have video rights to this presentation. However, I will say that presenting at the nation's largest education conference was a huge honor. To be asked to do it on the 'Next' stage was an unanticipated dream come true. The 'Next' stage is reserved exclusively for those presenters that SXSW believes will define what's "next" in their respective industries.
